Description: Patterns are all around us! Delve into the world of shapes, unlock the secrets of patterns, and ignite your creativity. Discover and explore patterns that exist in our everyday world, especially in nature. Using what we discover, learn how to explain and predict patterns. Ultimately, create your own amazing designs for others to discover and explore.
Instructor: Samantha Royer
A little about your instructor: Samantha Royer teaches for the School of Education at UAF. Before UAF, Samantha worked for the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District, where she most recently taught math at West Valley High School while coaching swimming. Samantha’s passion is helping people see the beauty in math and that everyone can be a math person.
