Description: Want to see what it takes to be a veterinarian? Join our Junior Vet Camp! Handle skeletons, learn how to do a physical exam and body condition scoring on a dog, practice surgical instrument skills, talk to veterinary students and veterinarians, examine X-rays, and more!

A little about your instructor: Growing up on a dairy farm in the Central Valley of California, I knew from a young age that working with animals was what I wanted to do. Having the opportunity to now work for the Department of Veterinary Medicine and expose young minds to the field through Jr. Vet Camp is something I hope can have a lasting impression in whichever career paths their life may take them.
