UAF Hockey Skills Camp

Hockey dates are June 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27 and July 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, and August 1. 

Location: UAF Patty Ice Arena, UAF Campus

Cost: $250

Goalie Track Cost: $200

Description: This hockey skills development program is designed for youth hockey players who are looking to attend tryouts and join a local hockey program for the 24-25 season. This academy will meet twice a week in June and three times a week in July. This is not a learn-to-skate program. Participants need to have at least one year of hockey experience to participate. There are limited spaces for goalies in each age group.

Instructor: Tom Hough

A little about your instructor:  Tom Hough is the Director of UAF Military and Veteran Services. He began his 27-year military career as a U.S. Army Infantry officer through the Eastern Illinois University ROTC program. Hough earned a master of international relations from Troy University, and master’s degrees in strategic planning from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the National Defense University. He also studied Italian language and culture at the National Defense Language Institute.
