Intermediate Rifle Camp
Intermediate Rifle Camp

Grades 7 - 9: June 23 - 27 (Week 5), 12 PM - 4 PM (Waitlist only!)
Location: Patty Center Rifle Range, UAF Campus
Cost: $235
Description: This intermediate camp is designed for 7th–9th graders who have taken rifle camp before. Campers should be familiar with the basics and want to grow their skills - you’ll work on improving technique, confidence, and consistency on the UAF range. We will be diving into how to set up steady shooting positions. This camp is for anyone looking to take the next step in marksmanship!

A little about Will: As a previous member of the US National Team, a US National Team coach, and currently the Head Rifle Coach for the Alaska Nanooks NCAA Division 1 Rifle Team, I have had a decade of experience in precision shooting. I enjoy teaching the next generation of student-athletes and look forward to sharing my expertise this summer.
Instructor: Matt Stout
A little about Matt: Matt is entering his third season with the UAF Rifle Team. Matt has competed at numerous Junior Olympic Championships and is a State Champion for Virginia.
Instructor: Randi Loudin
A little about Randi: I am finishing up my fifth season with the Nanook Rifle team as an assistant coach. I have spent nine years in NCAA competitions, the first four years as an athlete. I love working with new shooters and look forward to coaching this summer!
Instructor: Elijah Spencer
A little about Elijah: Elijah is entering her third season with the UAF Rifle Team. She has competed for the US National Team on numerous occasions and will once again compete for the US Team this summer in the Junior World Cup in Germany. Elijah is an All American and is one of only 3 people to ever fire a perfect score at the NCAA National Championship.
Instructor: Sara Karasova
A little about Sara: Sara has completed her fourth and final season with the UAF Rifle Team. Sara is one of the most decorated team members of all time. She is a 12 time All American, a National Champion, a European Champion and regularly represents the Czech Republic at World Cups.
