Entomology Camp

Grades: 7 - 12

Dates & Times: July 8 - 12 (Week 6), 1 PM - 4 PM

Location: UA Museum of the North 148, UAF Campus

Cost: $240

Description: Learn all about the diversity and natural history of insects by observing, collecting, and learning to identify insects, spiders, and more. Students will spend time outside collecting, take a closer look at specimens using microscopes, tour the UA Museum Entomology department, and create their own collection to bring home.

Instructor: Taylor Kane

A little about your instructor: I am a PhD student at UAF studying Alaskan Insects. I grew up in Fairbanks and love exploring the outdoors with my dogs as much as possible!
